Any guesses?
The peepers! Those little frogs with a big sound are peeping away and it is the best. sound. ever.
The robins are back too. Just noticed them in our own yard this past week. They really descended upon this tree in our front yard. |
The buds are fattening up on our trees and the red bud maples are definitely out. This is a tulip poplar tree and it's the last to get leaves in the spring and the last to give them up in the fall. |
This week I have plans to begin some spring nature study with some help from the spring study over at the Handbook of Nature Study blog and the FIAR spring nature study. We are also behind on replacing the art in our gallery frames in our dining room. We'll be working on a spring project this week for those as well.
It's been spring for a few weeks now, but things are slower here and especially this year. It's been a long, cold winter and actually we are still expecting some snow this week. Isn't it April?

Jealous! We haven't heard peepers, even tho' the robins have been seen February, and the crocuses starte blooming last week.
Oh, the anticipation of peepers! :D You give me hope that they are on their way! :D
Hi Heather!
Thanks for sharing the FIAR blog roll link on the message board. I couldn't get many of the links to work and got a bit lost with just how to get to the blogs...hehe!
I've gone ahead and created a little linky spot that seems easier to click through. I've had you on my reader for quite a while, but if you care to join, I know that others LOVE your blog and encouragement that pours over for FIAR! You've been an inspiration on my journey already.
Many Blessings, Tamara
Thanks Tamara...yes...I never really got that blog ring. So, that is why I didn't join. Then when I tried that link I gave you, I thought..this doesn't work either. haha
But thought it must be me! I'll pop over to check it out.
Heather
Thanks for joining in! Hopefully others will find it and we'll be able to glean from each other :)
