a really cool space ceiling fan for the boys- the nickel piece under the earth globe is a compass rose (and it's set properly). I know...you can hardly stand it. When space is less awesome, the blades flip over to be plain black. And when is the earth not cool?
A lovely choice for the master bedroom- the blades match the wood in my Cheval mirror (a wedding present from Dan). This room is in dire need of and overhaul. The walls are courtesy of the elderly couple we bought the home from. I'd say this is circa 1985-ish.
Anyway...this is pure soft breeze bliss.And a long time in coming.
My thanks to Dan who spent hours in our attic wiring the fans and just because he takes care of us and I love him and to those responsible for the little consulting job Dan had...who are the financiers of the fans.
They will remain nameless. But I am thankful.

Ceiling Fans are a great addition to any home, not just for cooling or recirculating the air but also for decoration as there are so many stiles available this days that are going to match any home decor.
Do you happen to know the brand name of the outer space fan? It's just what I've been looking for, but internet searches have turned up nothing but really cheesy looking fans.
