HomeWork: Juggling Home, Work, and School without Losing Your Balance

In this E- book, the collection of authors share with the reader ideas for home businesses and how they manage to homeschool and take care of their homes and family at the same time.

I think what I enjoyed most in the book was reading about the creativity each family possessed and the story of how their endeavor plays out in their family relationships. For example, the first story is about a mom and her two daughters who recycle jeans together and earn extra money. I really thought it was fun to see how they run the business and how they work together to make it happen.

There are all kinds of businesses surveyed whether it be computer based, writing, business support, or creative activities/passionate pursuits. Each family shares their story- where the idea for the business came from and how they were able to put it together in addition to how each family member participates.

The last portion of the book deals with how to handle the finances of a home-based business and how to organize it.

If your family is looking to begin a business, these stories will help you to see how others have balanced the work, school, and home. You might get some ideas for what business would work for you.
