So, J5 is so on fire to read that he wouldn't let me leave his side yesterday until we did THREE lessons! He's mastered the short (a) word family and today he was introduced to the long (a) sound in Reading Made Easy. We had started late last spring and we fell away from it as summer approached. But he was right back at it this week and he lost no time and was ready to move forward. So CUTE! I simply cannot resist sharing it with you in video.
He is also all about the writing that goes with it and today he wrote and read his first sentence. a cat sat.
I cannot emphasize enough how much I LOVE this program! If you have never seen Reading Made Easy, check it out. You will not be disappointed.
