Today it seemed like the right thing to do. So, I got things in gear...asking my assistant, R10, to gather the tins and make some flags!
Here they are! Flags for Flag Day and all...
The close up...one Oreo may seem not so generous until you know the rest went into the ice cream cake for a recent birthday.
If you haven't seen Muffin Tin Monday before, then I encourage you to visit The Muffin Tin Mom to find out more. Sometimes she has themes. Themes are off for the summer, but Flag Day spoke to me today.
My kids love MTM. I don't know why, but there's something about it.
Whimsy makes everything better.

I love seeing all of the fruits & veggies! I should try the little flag idea.
I love the flags. I forgot it was Flag Day.
I am glad someone loves it since those muffin tins take up WAY too much space in our small kitchen...
Hey dh...how about commenting when you don't feel like heckling!
Loving you...
Lovely tins! Love the flag idea!
But Dan's heckling is the main reason I read your blog!
Jana
Hello Jana!!
I greeted Dan that way when he came home tonight- "Hello heckler!"
He replied, "Hello oversensitive blogger!"
I forgot about Flag Day (bad homeschool mommy at that!). I usually make ours on Sunday to post on Monday. Sundays are easier because we come home after church for lunch. :o)
I love the muffin tins! I am always more creative with lunch when we use them- our version is seasonal plates that have dividers (3 or 4 depending) that we purchased at the dollar store. My boys think they're great. I totally missed flag day though! :(
So that is the secret...not every Muffin Tin Monday really happens on MONDAY.
That explains why when I wake up MTM mom has hers posted already.
Interesting. I'll have to think on that one.
