Hearts and Trees- New Kit

Amanda over at Hearts and Trees usually puts together a kit for each season. Since graduating from homeschool and college, she is now a full time employee and doesn't have as much time to devote to her fun blogging about art and nature. She is Barb of Harmony Art Mom and The Handbook of Nature Study Blog's daughter and sometimes their projects compliment one another.

However, she does have a new kit available for winter and spring. I pre-ordered mine and got the notice today that it's on the way!

If you haven't seen these before, you simply must check them out! If you don't want the whole kit, you can order the pdfs of owls separately. I have the one on mammals and her weather sheets as well.

I just love these kits because everything comes inside and it includes an art study, a nature study and a sewing project or some other handicraft or two.

This kit's theme is: owls, salt, silhouettes, and night-scapes.

I'm putting together a new hand-sewing basket for R9 and this owl will be one of the first projects inside!

If you are interested, order soon because I know Amanda will limit how many kits she makes this time around.

Oh yes, I love HEarts and Trees and I've been wanting to get the winter kit. Is it available yet?

Yes! In fact, pre-orders have already been sent. Get over there and get your kit while you can Brenda!

Thanks for sharing this, Heather. I had never heard of this blog or these kits - but it looks so neat that I went ahead and ordered it for my 9-year-old. Looks like fun!

Hey friend...
Thanks for visiting my blog.

I've commited to daily (or almost) posts about creative homeschooling.

Holly is doing fine... she is very busy-- I will see her tonight at scouts and I will certainly tell her you asked about her and said hi!

Now, off to catch up on your blog... which I read and enjoy, but don't always comment on.

Hugs, ivy
