Is it any wonder why I have clutter? Who else would let a 2yo loose with a box of buttons?? He LOVES buttons! I like them better than rice or sand in the house. He pours and pounds and dumps and once in a while he throws. He's got measuring cups in there and though I try to encourage him to dump and pour in a dish pan, he doesn't go for it. Apparently, that is too restraining!This started out as a snowman craft...that quickly turned to button pour and dump time. That's ok...I know the other kids are working on snowmen and wondering who is going to clean up the button mess.
My only regret? I forgot to order my pound of buttons with my paints. Bummer! If you have any stray buttons...you can send them my way and Grandma...if you are stuck on what else to get J2...well a giant bag of buttons will make him squeal!!
