J6 received an Erector Set for Christmas. He's been building away...

This first helicopter was made by looking at the picture...not so much the directions. Who needs those? |

Can I just say I love trays? I have these from Discount School Supply. |
It took him a day or so to get used to working with the pieces, but he's comfortable with it now and loves to build contraptions- with or without directions. He takes a little time to tinker each day.

It's time for me to think about getting an erector set for the grandchildren when they visit. Thank you! They both love Legos, but after reading your post I remember how much fun our son had with his erector set. Great blog!
Thank you Carol! I hope they enjoy the set.

We have a few of these sets but even I find them hard to manipulate. Well done to those that have a go. They take quite a while to do. Renelle
great gift for diligent person. I can't even set it.
