Equate: Advanced Tiles

We bought E12 the advanced tiles for our Equate game. These keep you on your toes! The game comes with a basic set and you can get young player tiles as well as this advanced set. You can't mix them, but it does help to play differently with our various aged kids.

Here you can see a game I played with E12. With the advanced set we practiced exponents, negative and positive numbers, and improper fractions or fractions with more difficult denominators.

If you've never seen Equate, it plays like Scrabble only it's math equations. We got ours from Rainbow Resource a few years ago. Every now and then I like to remind folks about this great game! We like all games here, but math games allow us to practice skills in a fun way.
