Bananagrams

We love games at our house and based on a recommendation from Melinda at Eager Eyes of Blue I sought this one out at ACMoore. It plays pretty simply. Just dump out all the tiles and turn them over in the middle. Take 21 per person (for a small group) and try to make your own crosswords at the same time. Other rules allow you to dump letters, pick up new letters, make others pick up letters and you can change your words around any time. Eventually, there will be no more to pick up and the winner is the one who gets rid of all his tiles first.

My puzzle
E9's puzzle
When I first pulled it out with J3, he said hold on I want to get the dump truck. Can you guess what we played? We played identify letters and their sounds and scoop and dump them. He scooped and dumped while I asked questions. J3 is a letter sound king and can identify most uppercase letters by sight as well. Just ask him. "J says Ja!" He's got a million of 'em.

For the Father's out there who read this blog (and I know there are TONS of them), be aware these tiles will end up everywhere!
