I-5 cries, "I can read!"

And he decided to write a story on his own. All I did was help him with some sounds and he did all the spelling. I would also say, "That's the end of the sentence, " and he would add the period. Today he read his first "story" in lesson 29 of Reading Made Easy. He just squealed with delight at reading a whole story. Of course he's been reading plenty of words for a while now and just today made this exclamation. Detailed bat courtesy of Draw Write Now. He loves to reference those.

What a proud day for this homeschooling mama! Way to go I-5!

Very cool! I love it when they put it all together... letters make words, words make sentences, sentences make stories... now you're reading!!
